Lab-work-3LASER combines expertise in the fields of spatial statistics and GIS technology, quantitative epidemiology and operational research to build the evidence-base around diseases of poverty and the communities they affect.

Working closely with national and international partners, LASER’s research aims to facilitate the design, implementation and evaluation of effective disease control programmes.

LASER places a strong emphasis on developing an evidence base that can be used to inform policy and practice.
